What is a digital badge?
A digital badge is a smart, simple, visual way of recognising non-accredited learning. A useful tool for individuals and organisations to display on social media, email signatures, LinkedIn, or part of a digital CV.

Digital badging platforms
Digital badges can be issued to a learner by email, code, URL, or profile. There are lots of different digital badging platforms. Region of Learning can help navigate the different offers and choose a platform that works for you. We can show you who else offers badges and all the different features available. We can show learners how to make the most of digital badges with digital badging wallets.
What is a pathway?
When badges are earned and connected, they form "Pathways" – typically a badge map culminating in an end point such as a graduate badge, access to further learning or employment opportunities. Pathways are clear visible routes to help people progress through the steps needed to reach a goal- whether career-related or for personal well-being.
How can I get started with digital badging?
Region of Learning offer small grants to allow organisations and businesses in Cambridgeshire and Peterborough to get badging, explore badging platforms and collaborate and connect with the badging ecosystem. Please get in touch to see how we can help!
