We’re excited to announce improvements to our internship funding programme, making it easier than ever for employers to recruit interns and access financial support.
What’s New?
Our new funding offer includes:
- 6 Weeks Fully Funded Salary: Intern salaries fully covered, based on National Minimum Wage (NMW) or National Living Wage (NLW), depending on age.
- Extra £100 Weekly Subsidy: To support onboarding and other costs, such as equipment, employers will receive an additional £100 per week while the intern is on the Internship.
- Working Hours: Interns can work between 12–38 hours per week, giving you the flexibility to suit your needs.
- No Sustainability Requirement: Unlike the 13-week programme, there’s no requirement for placements to lead to sustainable roles after 6 weeks.
Original Funding Still Available
For those preferring the existing programme, the original funding (covering up to 50% of salaries for 13 weeks, for interns working 16–30 hours per week) remains available. New hires must start by December 2024, with all internships completed by March 2025.
Why Get Involved?
This is a fantastic opportunity to bring fresh skills and perspectives into your organisation while reducing costs. Whether you’re hosting an intern for the first time or have participated before, now is the perfect time to benefit from increased support.
