SEND Schools

Access additional SEND resources specifically designed to support schools and students with the transitions they face in their lives.

SEND Schools with their focus on “Preparing for Adulthood” are already tuned into the ideas behind an inspirational and aspirational careers programme. Any careers programme should be focused on supporting each and every student to achieve their potential supporting them to move into the next phase of their life; whatever that might be.

Whilst many of the resources available to schools to support careers programmes are relevant to SEND Schools, and their students, there are additional resources that are specifically designed to support schools and students with the transitions they face in their lives.

Benchmark 1 Workshop for SEND schools

Following an analysis of the Gatsby Compass Audits, for the SEND Schools across Cambridgeshire and Peterborough, it was identified that support with progressing against Benchmark 1 - "A stable careers programme" would be of interest to the Careers Leaders in these schools. We are pleased to be able to provide you with a recording of the slides (with narrative) from the workshop. Please contact your Enterprise Coordinator for support with progressing against this, and other Benchmarks.
